Mundane update
I've just realized I actually only have nine more days of school left. As in, school days. This means nine more days of my high school life ever. No more. Finished. Thirteen years of mind-numbing brainwashing also known as education...finished. It's a beautiful thought. Sigh.
Even more beautiful in light of the fact that I just spent two hours writing a history essay and realizing that this is the last 9 days of my life in which I will have to write a bloody A-level 1200-word history essay every alternate day. Hurrah!
Oh, sod, I'm doing history at university. Goodbye 1200-word essays, hello 5000-word weekly assessment papers.
In other news, South Korea has had their first case of SARS. Malaysia's SARS cases are also rising - perhaps more incrementally than the government is letting on (you know how our government is, bloody censorship maniacs). Maybe I should arrange to go to England as soon as I finish my A-levels.
And in other news, there is a pair of shoes - and I repeat, shoes - going on sale in Harrods sometime this month for - I kid you not - US$1 million. That's RM3.8 million, or £633,333. Shoes. Like, things you wear on your feet, that nobody really looks at anyway.
I wonder how many people queue up to buy it.
