On Thai boxing and idleThinK

Went with Sunni and my Extremely Attractive Kickboxing Instructor to Atmosphere last night to watch Thai kickboxing. Yes, I know, school night, but hey, it's not every day you get to see extremely fit, shirtless and sweaty men beating each other up :P I mean, these guys were buff:

Thai boxing is a lot more of a "real" fighting sport than its Western counterpart, and definitely a lot more "real" than WWF (in fact there are a lot of things more real than WWF, such as Santa Claus...not Britney Spears' breasts, though). The lightweight fights were a lot less fun to watch than the heavyweights - especially the LAST MATCH of the night, where I saw an actual K.O. for the first time in my entire life!!11!!1!11!11!! Thrilling.

Anyway, someone asked me a day or so ago why I don't just write about what I do everyday, instead of writing all those "damn weird stuffs" about photography theories and Muslim women, and that I should try and make my blog more readable and accessible by limiting myself to writing about mundane day-to-day doings. So today's entry is as close as I want to get to what I like to call the "Dear Diary complex", i.e. "Dear Diary, today I went and watched Thai boxing at Atmosphere at 9.30PM, and it was fun".

I don't know if I'm cut out for doing that, though. I mean, as I told a friend yesterday, my website is called "idleThinK", not "idleDo" :P And surely it's a more valuable investment of effort to chronicle thought rather than action. After all, all science begins with thought and theory, all art is a physical representation of thought, and philosophy is only thought. Well, I don't know. I've just flicked through my archives, and it's true, there isn't a single solely "Dear Diary" entry in there. It's all full of "damn weird stuffs". And since idleThinK's been established, it's been a common enough complaint to warrant writing about it.

So, there's the big question: do you think that idleThinK is too much think? Any comments, you know what to do.
