Foot in mouth
The floor was carpeted in an enormous white sheet, onto which several students were industriously and laboriously inscribing 'WORLD AIDS DAY' and red-ribbon patterns. The room was littered with HIV education flyers, and in the corner lay a small heap of red ribbons with pins.
And I barged into the room, a girl pioneer on a 24 hour blogathon mission, armed with sponsorship forms, and asked if anyone knew that World AIDS Day was this Monday.
