And golden joy gushes into the world
There's a certain candied candlelight, roast honey warmth in the air, and that toe-curling heart-bubbling feel to the golden taste of Christmas. It is that time of year, when people fuzz at the edges, and the world is a blurred kaleidescope of thrilled lights, and I can traverse public places with a silly grin on my face, and a sillier velvet-thick sparkled red Santa hat on my head.
Crackle-orange log fires, thick flaked cotton snow, cloud-heavy quilts and someone with whom to bask in glorious contentment with are much in order, but I am in Malaysia, and all these elements are tragically un-forthcoming.
Oh well.
