As the cold water surged over his unassuming little body, a second aspect of Frog's virgin experience with irony became immediately apparent. Frog, been born and raised on the lilypad, had never had a reason to leave the lilypad. As such, Frog did not know how to swim.
The thought feebly traversed his modestly sized brain as he paddled and floundered futilely in the churning waters.
