The new continent
I would like to draw reader attention to this rather provoking site: http://www.grouphug.us/. It is an online repository for anonymous confessions of so-called "unacceptable" thoughts - a bad karma communal blog, so to speak.
Some of the entries are sidesplittingly amusing; others make my hair stand on end.
There is a website online which provides a menstruation-text-message-reminder service to women for a modest fee; there are websites where you can go on virtual dates; and grouphug.us are only two shades away from virtual Christian Confessions (online priests!!). It is safe to say, dear readers, that we are constructing a whole new civilization, and though its entirely virtual city is as solid and tangible as the smell of frost, it is more real than we may yet begin to grasp.
