And yes, Rachel is quite aware that Stalinist communism is not the same thing as Marxist communism, but Rachel enjoys writing exciting controversial things, because exciting controversy will keep her from falling asleep. In actual fact, Rachel's reasons for not being communist are somewhat less exciting (although probably no less controversial), but she will (haha) hoard that idea for another post.
