A great mystery of (my) life: How does my computer keep the correct time when I turn it off?!?!!? It strikes me a little like putting someone into cryogenic sleep, reviving them some 36 years 7 months 3 days 18 minutes and 27 seconds later, and having them know exactlywhat time, day and year it is. Is my computer secretly conscious?
I am also convinced that my furniture makes rude faces at me when my back is turned.
