Nature
So many things I do in a day aren't worth remembering, but that's ok, because I forget them anyway. It always baffles me how I must be filling up every minute of my day with something (otherwise how could I make it around the clock?), but can still respond to "What did you do today" with "Nothing much. Went to the office".
It always amazes me, also, how you can get to know a person down to the closely-meshed fibres of his or her personality, and still manage to describe them as "nice". When I describe someone, sometimes I say it too, I can't help it. Then I'll feel like washing my mouth out, with complex similes and adjectives.
But, one of the things worth remembering today, and I know this because I remembered it. I walked past a conspicuously purple wall, with a sign on it saying "Caution: Wet Paint". Out of a kind of morbid curiosity, I loitered around to wait for the next moron who would touch a wall with a sign on it that says "Caution: Wet Paint" and has "Don't touch, you fool" metaphorically written all over it.
I was there for a total of nine seconds and a muttered obscenity. This proves so many things about humanity.
