A while ago, it was decided that Jacquelyn, Alex, Kim and I would combine our brains and boobs to create a group blog of Grrls/Women/Chicks/Divas/Laydeez. We are in the process of coming up with a Name, and we would like your opinion. Yes, yours. Here are the contestants:
- Broad Scribblings. Note the devastatingly clever word play on "broad". NB: Martin, do I really have to explain this? Broad as in wide(ly read), encompassing many topics, vast, etc. Broad as in, colloquial for women. Hope that's clear :)
- Words of Missdom. Words of Wisdom, by Misses?
- Women's Writes. Right to write, women's writes. Look, word play has so much allure.
- Writes of Women. Variant on above.
- Astraeus. Details here.
- Clio. Muse of historical poetry, and a subtle jibe at the women's magazine "Cleo", which is everything that we will endeavour not to be, i.e. inanely girly.
- Fexicle. I can't really explain this, it's something to do with foxiness and testicles/popsicles. Ask him :)
- Literica. Literate Chica. Ha ha. (Thanks to Martin for this one).
