"Word" is all right; "words" aren't
Generally there are very few words I don't understand. I've no problem with words like "interstitial", "dialectic", "concatenation", "anapestic" and "caliginous". Thusly, when it comes to words like "sentence", "term" and "imply", you'd think I'd have no problem.
But, no.
They explain a new term, if only partially, by specifying some sentences which are implied by sentences containing the term, and other sentences which imply sentences containing the term.
I am doing philosophy, and at times like these, I wonder why.
