The Plan

Also, I've a plan for the quasi-distant future - or a mission statement, if you wish. From now until I graduate in June 2006, every spare bit of money I earn (by myself) within that period will go towards travelling places.

Frankly, I'm tired of appraising things I don't need and calculating how long it will take me to save for them.

And frankly, I've this burning desire to find out if the air-after-rain smells any different in cities continents apart.

After all, who needs new coats, new clothes, new digital cameras, speakers, CDs, DVDs, food...when you can travel! I'll sleep in a tree if I must, but let it be a tree on another continent, another country, another city, even another neighbourhood.

And more than that, I get euphoric seeing white road lines streak under the car tyres, seeing a white wing slice through clouds. It's the act of motion, as much as the destination, that I crave, and need.

Apart from books. Everyone needs books.

And a powerbook. Everyone needs that, too.

So, watch me fly. On my own, I'm planning Prague or Nice, before summer term is out.
