Adventures of Corporate Boy and Girl (II)
At 11.20am this morning, Girl was commanded by the Powers That Be to design a corporate brochure. Girl spent many minutes confused, because consulting seniors for more specific information on any task usually results in an answer that is slightly less specific than saying that my house is in the solar system.
Girl consulted Boy on aforementioned task. Boy was equally clueless.
Girl spent four hours designing, researching and developing an introductory brochure to Company. Girl googled client lists, corporate spiels, royalty-free graphics, company logos. Girl applied the full force of her aesthetic senses to selecting fonts, colour schemes and layouts.
At 4.52pm, Boy appears at Girl's desk.
Boy: Any sharp instruments around?
Girl: No. Why?
Boy: Boss says scrap the brochure. Come over to my desk, I'll give you the next task.
