Lists: to make n' break

I'm of the impression that people make lists of things they want to achieve, just so they'll know the order in which they won't achieve them. Which is why this isn't a list of things to achieve, merely a list of projects which I'm currently undertaking. Divorced from context and description, there's mystique in the names; or perhaps, not.

  1. Project Fexicle, but we're not calling it that, really
  2. Project Rome
  3. Project Mickey
  4. Project SWOT
  5. Project Crazy
  6. Project Writing
  7. Project Bore

Oh and also, as of today idleThinK no longer supports commenting.

This evening it rained hyper-realist rain: that rugged genre of raindrops that pelt rather than tickle. I've missed tropical thunder, even though lightning always makes the world look as though it's spasming in and out of reality. The effect is somewhat akin to a dying lightbulb. Disconcerting.

But I'm more troubled by the fact that a precarious 3 million dollars is teetering on my proposal presentation tomorrow. I can't help thinking: if my advice tomorrow causes us to write off financing this company's proposal, and the company grows to be the next Microsoft, I may conceivably have to flee to Brazil or something. Yo soy el fugitivo?
