back from liguria
exhausted, sunburned, elated. being in italy the past six days gave me a marvellous glimpse into what my summer post-thesis will be like: a little like that, but in amidst sunshine and tawny shadows, rather than the rimy austerity of december. am catching up on emails -- patience.
