1. The first stage is your starting point.
I thought it best to begin my journey here; the desolate home of original communication.
2. Walk in any direction for 50 to 100 paces, and then turn 180 degrees.
It's still desolate, nothing can save it now, not even a bus and the Simpsons.
3. Continue walking in that direction until you see something blue.
The ducks attacked without mercy, leaving only a hollow carcass stained with blue blood. the brutality of nature.
4. Make a left turn and walk 50 to 70 paces.
If only we could look ahead and notice when life is gonna throw a curve at us. Less mess.
5. Walk in any direction until you see something that either is or looks like the number 7 or 11.
Five, six, pick up sticks. Seven, eight, lay them straight.
6. Take the first left, and continue walking until you find somewhere to sit.
I could have sat down but the reflections wrapped themselves around my retinae and held me where I stood. Watch the sky move.
7. Choose any direction and walk for 25 to 50 paces.
Nature blocks man's progress. Or is it just that man is building roads in the wrong places?
8. Continue walking until you see an unusual colour, shape or texture. Turn 180 degrees.
Look at the nature's textures, everywhere, and watch man's textures interact with them.
9. Keep walking in any direction until you see an archway or an unusual architectural feature.
A gate-post. Supersized honeycomb impales itself on old wood-grain.
10. Head for home, but continue looking for something that catches your eye.
Little island, all alone in the middle of the lake. It's like something out of Tarkovsky.
11. Take a photograph of yourself in front of that something unusual!
Finally, the end. My eye is tired and my hair is a rain-soaked mess whilst Tarkovsky's Island sits gently weeping in the background.
