Leamington Spa

Place: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England
1. The first stage is your starting point.
Us, seasoned synch travellers, reflected across the road in the window of the best coffee shop in Leamington. What better place to start than where we plan to end up?
2. Walk in any direction for 50 to 100 paces, and then turn 180 degrees.
On a Spring day so sunny everything hovered on the cusp of being unreal, passing by a shop window with "REVIVE!" hand-painted onto it was too good to pass up.
3. Continue walking in that direction until you see something blue.
or an entire vista of blues
4. Make a left turn and walk 50 to 70 paces.
A flash of blue and purple in the corner of our eyes, and we were drawn to this ludicrous graffiti.
5. Walk in any direction until you see something that either is or looks like the number 7 or 11.
a bit of a stretch, perhaps.
6. Take the first left, and continue walking until you find somewhere to sit.
The lawn was impossibly green, and the park bench impossibly dwarfed by that Spring sky.
7. Choose any direction and walk for 25 to 50 paces.
No one said 'walking' was specifically necessary :) and lawns are made for cartwheels, anyway.
8. Continue walking until you see an unusual colour, shape or texture. Turn 180 degrees.
A road with odd speedbumps?
9. Keep walking in any direction until you see an archway or an unusual architectural feature.
A bridge over the canal, murky on one side, improbably clear on the other.
10. Head for home, but continue looking for something that catches your eye.
I have no idea what that is...
11. Take a photograph of yourself in front of that something unusual!
...but it necessitated a silly photograph, anyway.
