Code of the Woosters [review]

It is no use telling me there are bad aunts and good aunts. At the core, they are all alike. Sooner or later, out pops the cloven hoof.

I hadn't read any Wodehouse prior to this - my mother and several of my more pomp-inclined friends are great fans, but I've personally always had trouble getting into the swing of the Oxford-don-pomp humour, until I was induced to watch Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie's Complete Jeeves and Wooster DVD series. This has completely sold Wodehouse for me, and reading any one of the Jeeves and Wooster series now sends me into conniptions of hysterical mirth. Highly recommended summer reading :)
